Arcata Preferential Parking Permit
Arcata publishes preferential permit fees for Zones A, B and C, with separate residential, guest and business requirements.
Scope and conditions
The first two residential/business permits are free; the third costs $15, fourth $20 and fifth $25, with a maximum of five per residence. One guest permit per residence costs $15. Zones A, B and C are enforced year-round, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Saturdays and Sundays. Permits do not apply in 2-hour or 4-hour zones. Residential applicants need residency proof, legal photo ID and current vehicle registration; guests need residency proof and ID; businesses need a license and employee list. Credit-card convenience fees apply. The lookup does not decide address eligibility or individual approval, and collects no personal documents or vehicle identifiers.
