Which side overnight?
Use the evening's date before midnight: odd dates mean the odd-numbered side, even dates the even-numbered side. Enforcement runs 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
The evening date controls
For example, September 7, 2026 is odd: the ordinary rule calls for the odd-numbered side during the early morning of September 8. Do not switch the calculation to September 8 just because midnight passes.
Not parking permission
Snow emergencies, posted prohibitions and other ordinances override this calculation. Accessible spaces are exempt from the alternate-side requirement. This page does not verify snow status, a particular parking location or special vehicle eligibility.
